Our Story
Hi, my name is Liz, and I'd like to share with you the "why" part of my soap-making journey.
About five years ago, I began toying with the idea of making homemade soap. After using bought soaps, I realized my skin was becoming dry and wrinkled. While the wrinkled part was likely due to the age of my skin, I still decided to experiment anyway.
Soap making became more than a hobby for me, and believe me, there were many disasters along the way. However, after using my soaps, I realized how different they felt on my skin compared to the supermarket soaps I used to purchase. I became more interested in improving my soaps in terms of performance and appeal.

The round ripple soap shape was adopted as Scorpio Roses' signature shape. I felt it was a more luxurious shape aesthetically. During lathering the soap rolls easily in the hand and fits nicely into most soap containers.
After much research and experimentation, I formulated a soap recipe that I felt was acceptable and began sharing it with friends and family. Their feedback helped to improve the soaps even more.
Learning and experimenting, I must say, will probably never end as I believe you can never stop learning new things. So, I invite you to take a chance on my soaps and help me continue developing my soaps in a positive way.
